Scouts & Guide

Scouts and Guide service is an integral and important part of the personality development program of the school. 96 scouts,    6 guides, 80 cubs and 40 bulbuls were registered during 2006. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as a state participated in National Judging camp for the items held at Gadpuri during September 2006. Fifteen states had participated in this camp and our school was selected to represent entire KVS. Our scouts in this camp won two awards, one for the fire safety and one for the backwoodsman cooking. On the whole scouts participated very well and the color party drill was highly appreciated by the observer from national headquarters (Bharat Scouts and Guides). During the inspection of the Vidyalaya our scouts showed their camp craft skills which were highly appreciated by the inspecting team having seven principals of other Kendriya Vidyalayas lead by the Education Officer KVS(DR).
